Artist Statement:

My hobby of working with wood began over 40 years ago. Now, in my winter years, I still "compute," but my "fun" time is in my wood shop. I love to work with wood - polish til it "glows!"

This hobby has "turned" into a micro-business with its focus on wood-lathe turned handles for kitchenware-pizza cutters/servers, cheese planes, ice cream scoops/paddles, etc along with mills - coffee and, salt and pepper. Each handle I turn is unique, as each piece of wood is unique - its texture, grain and colors. I work with a wide variety of woods - domestic and exotic. In the latter set, I love to turn ebonies - Gabon, Sudan, Indian, Ceylon, Macassar, etc. All my handles are polished beautifully- the ebonies "stand-out!" My handles are made for your hands!

Check out my e-Flipbook below. It is updated quarterly with what products I have available. Custom orders accepted if you don't see the product or wood that you desire - please call: 541-977-6277.
