Bio:
I started taking art in high school in the mid-west and I have taken different classes throughout my life. I have some training in each field I work in but mostly I am self taught. I enjoy working in my studio with some good music, good instructors on videos and a lots of curiosity about how different techniques change the look of my work.
Artist Statement:
As an artist I am interested in all forms of art. I spend most of my time painting in Acrylic on canvas, working in watercolor of paper or cardstock and working with oil paints on canvas. At this time I am creating some ceramic items too. I have my own pottery wheel and kiln. It is taking a little longer to get that part going but is also a passion.
