Dry Canyon Arts Association

Dale Barrett

Bio:

Dale’s fusion of realism with design removes his subject from their natural landscapes to the mystical realm of art. In one brief act of carving tools and paint medium, nature can become strikingly beautiful. This is the passion in which Dale puts into each of his naturalistic fish, and bird sculptures.

Dale is a gifted artist sought out by carving clubs from Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, and Canada providing professional instruction., in addition to judging at local, National and International carving shows.

Additional Dale is gifted at working with Gems and Minerals teaching Faceting, and Lapidary techniques locally and in Arizona during the winter months.

Artist Statement:

My philosophy in approaching art is very simple: Because I have been given much, I too must give!
