Bio:
My wife Susanne Slater and I are new to central Oregon. She is also an artist and a member of CDAA. Her media is acrylics. I recently retired from a job in healthcare and now can focus on my media which is woodworking.
Artist Statement:
I have been a woodworking artist for over 20 years. My main focus is building steel string acoustic guitars. I also create other smaller works out of wood from rings, to pens, to bottle stoppers to chef’s knives.
