First Some Sad News
We are sad to announce that Kristi Stone has stepped down from the Board of Directors Chair. She is still a member and will continue to be a part of the group, but due to personal circumstances she is unable to perform the duties required for the position.
We understand the complexities of life and hope Kristi the best as she works to simplify her life to focus on the things that are most important.
Would You like to help out? We are looking for volunteers to help with Events. Also, the Board has a few vacancies that might be a great fit for the right person. If you are interested, please contact us at email@example.com

The board met on March 11th on Zoom. In attendance:

June 5th, Art Show at the High Desert Music Hall was discussed. Details in the Events section of this report.
The June 5th, Art Show at the High Desert Music Hall: The show has been named, "Art at the Music Hall". The board discussed planning and budgeting. There will be 31 spaces available for artists and artisans. Each space is about 6' wide; with 3 odd sized spaces located on the stage area. Spaces will be given to members 1st then assigned by lottery. We will be charging $50 for members and $65 for non-members.
Signage and an additional Banner have been purchased for the show. Each have been made generic so that they can be reused for all DCAA shows. Additionally, a poster design draft was approved and will be produced and placed in appropriate venues.
Advertising in Cascade A&E was discussed and pursuing a grant to cover this expense was brought up for additional research. Additionally, producing a t-shirt to sell, or take orders for, was discussed. Please see the survey link in this newsletter.
The Event Time-Line:
March 20th, Call for Artists/Artisans and Application released
April 17th, Deadline for registration and payment
April 26th, Informational Meeting will be held via zoom to hold the space lottery and share housekeeping details about the show
June 5th, Art at the Music Hall
The July 24th, Art Show at the High Desert Music Hall: The show has been named the, "Midsomer Art Show". Registration for the membership will start on May 8th, general public on the 13th at the Membership Meeting to be held at Mel Archer's studio. Deadline for registration and payment will be June 12th.
A General Meeting is scheduled for March 25th at 6:30pm PST via Zoom.

June 2021: Art at the Music Hall PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE: JUNE 5TH June 5th, 818 SW Forest Ave. The High Desert Music Hall offers a wonderful space in the main hall. This large open area is inside and can accommodate many booths. We will be sending out event details, costs and signups on March 20th. Watch your email for more information! July 2021: Midsomer Art Show July 24th, the Midsomer Art Show will be located in the lot between 8th and 9th off of Glacier Ave. We will be sending out event details, costs and signups soon.
