rules and regulations

  1. ADMITTANCE: FREE to the general public. 10:30am - 5pm

  2. SET-UP: Saturday ONLY, 5/14, from 8 to 10 AM.

  3. TEAR DOWN AND CLEANING: Sunday, 5 – 7 PM. 

  4. ELIGIBILITY: Central Oregon Fine Artists and Handcrafters (no commercial made items)

  5. COST:  DCA members $100 per 6’ wide space.  Non-members, $135

  6. COMMISSION: No commission will be charged

  7. SPACE: Artisans to set up and decorate their own space.  

  8. PROMOTION:  DCAA will promote this event in all the usual outlets.  Each artist is expected to utilize their social media channels to promote this event; DCAA will supply hashtags for inclusion in posts.

  9. DISCOUNTED or SALES GOODS: We do not allow for display area discounting or sales signs during an art show. We do not allow any signs saying "Sale" or "Discount"   or other words that convey an additional reduction in price on products in the display. Additional price cuts are not encouraged with respect to other artisans not being able to offer price cuts and for the perception that the product is being degraded. However, verbal bartering or negotiating is allowed between artisan and customer.

  10. SALES:  each artist is responsible for handling their own sales.

  11. SECURITY:   Each Artisan space needs to be manned during show hours. Dry Canyon Arts Assoc. is not responsible for injury, damage, loss, or theft of your property; artisans should have their own insurance.

  12. CLEAN UP AND TEAR-DOWN: Sunday, Nov 13th. We need to have the clean-up done no later than 7 pm. Do Not clean up or start to take down  your space prior to the last call (all buyers are out the door, and an announcement is  made) 5 pm; PLEASE be responsible for cleaning your space.

Submission of this Application constitutes an agreement with all conditions set forth in the Agreement and Application. Dry Canyon Arts Assoc. (referred to as DCAA) reserves the right to photograph works and displays for the purpose of publicity, education, and documentation.

  1. All items for sale must be original, hand-made fine arts and crafts by the artisan, no commercial arts or crafts sales allowed.

  2. By signing this application, the artisan verifies he/she has read and understands the Agreement and Application form. The artisan also agrees to abide by the Rules and Regulations herein and the decisions of DCAA management. Failure to comply with any rules or regulations will result in being asked to leave this show and being prohibited from future participation at DCAA functions. No money will be refunded.

  3. Any and all equipment and property shall be the responsibility of the artisan.  Dry Canyon Arts Assoc, its agents, volunteers, and members shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to artisan equipment and property for any cause whatsoever. It is expressly understood that the artisan assumes all risk of loss and damage to their equipment and property and that DCAA, its agents, volunteers, and members are under no duty to guard such property at any time.

  4. Artisan agrees to hold harmless DCAA, its agents, volunteers, and members, for any personal injury to himself/herself and his/her associates for any property loss or damages of any nature suffered by any person as a result of the operation of the above mentioned or the artisans and especially to the attendees while within the undersigned artisan space or caused by the artisan.

  5. Artisan agrees, should an accident occur within the artisan's space caused by the artisan's display or debris left by the artisan, to hold harmless DCAA, its agents, volunteers, and members from any liability resulting from such accidents.
